40 Gracias, Day 32: The Dinner Party

December 23, 2012

My last day in Brooklyn. At the Brooklyn Museum I was delighted to find Judy Chicago’s “The Dinner Party,” a piece I’d studied years ago in feminist art class. I only ever saw it in books. And lo! There it was before me. Each place set for a special goddess.  No photos allowed, but I snuck-snapped Emily Dickinson’s plate. Oh my!
